The Columbia River Bouy 10 Salmon Opener August 1st is one of the most highly anticipated of all Oregon fisheries, with impressive King and Silver Salmon.

Coho Salmon is also known as Silver Salmon. Coho salmon range in size from about 5 lbs to 20 lbs and are very active fish. They have been known to jump and fight. The Coho salmon fishery runs into October and Pete is very familiar with their run as they migrate from the ocean up stream. Coho salmon run up river to all the tributaries of the Columbia River including the Willamette River.

Chinook Salmon is also known as King Salmon. Fishing for King Salmon is the ultimate thrill. King Salmon are very wild as they come right from the ocean. Pete follows these fish up river as the salmon migrate and will take you to the best fishing areas. The size of King Salmon range from 10 lbs to 60 lbs.

The Columbia River is the second largest River in North America. The Columbia River has the greatest flow of any North American river draining into the Pacific. The river is 1,243 miles long, and its largest tributary is the Snake River. The vast size of this river makes it a great place do a guided fishing trip in Oregon.

The Columbia River has the Best White Sturgeon fishing in the world. This River supplies the entire west coast with Sturgeon. I will take you fishing on the lower section that stretches (140 miles). The Columbia River Sturgeon fishing will have you coming back to Oregon for more every year.
